S-  It is hard for the brain to focus on something for a long period of time. Thyme It allows people to try a different method of studying with breaks and planning. Studies show that the brain can only focus for 45 minutes at a time before losing the  comprehension that was held at the start of the task. By including the Pomodoro timer in the app,  people are able to rest after working for 25 minute intervals, which utilizes time and effort to the fullest.

T- The program is made to be supported by phones and other devices. It was made to be an app that is easy to use. It's functions include the utilization of Google Classroom in order for access assignments quickly and additionally the Google Calendar for students to navigate their workload and understand their schedules. The Pomodoro Timer is included in the app to help with the improvement of time management as well. 

E- The program was decided to be made on phones and other devices. It allows for easy access to the app and prevents distraction. 84% of teenagers own a phone, which makes Thyme it  a viable option to try and improve time management skills with. 

A- I designed and created my logo using an art program. I utilized color and composition in order to find something to suit the app. The app includes a blue color scheme, as well as others in order to establish a positive working environment for the user. Studies have shown the effect of colors on people and I have based the focus of my app on blue and green in particular. In a study on color therapy for stress, it was found that green helps people  relax, helps with anxiety and reduces stress. By using green with blue in mind, due to it being able to stimulate thinking in a calm environment, the app is ideal for productiveness and long-term stress. 





M- There is a lack in percentage of students who know how to manage their time. Studies show how many do not utilize their phones or devices in order to improve this. 90% of students feel that they procrastinate on their assignments in one study at a college. 50% of those same students admit to not using any program to help manage their time better.
